Ch. 4 – Living Outside the Social Norm
Adam has been staying at his friend Craig’s apartment, who had an extra room. Craig recently found someone to rent the room, meaning that Adam will soon be homeless again. Read more »
While Adam was in the hospital after having his jaw broken, the police came to his hospital room so he could identify his attackers from mug shots. Adam told me that he was getting out of the hospital that evening. Read more »
Back in May, I got a very unsettling call from Adam letting me know that he was beat up on the beach in Maui, and that he was in the hospital recovering from surgery. His jaw had been broken in three places and several of his teeth had been kicked out. Read more »
Adam became homeless in Seattle this past winter. So when someone offered him a chance to house-sit in Maui, he sold his car and headed for warmer weather. By the end of January, his house sitting services were no longer needed and he found himself homeless and sleeping on the beach. Read more »
