{"id":5957,"date":"2014-03-17T16:44:25","date_gmt":"2014-03-17T23:44:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.philborges.com\/blog\/?p=5957"},"modified":"2014-03-17T16:53:37","modified_gmt":"2014-03-17T23:53:37","slug":"interview-with-will-hall-recovering-from-madness","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.philborges.com\/blog\/2014\/03\/17\/interview-with-will-hall-recovering-from-madness\/","title":{"rendered":"Interview with Will Hall: Recovering from Madness"},"content":{"rendered":"<p dir=\"ltr\" id=\"docs-internal-guid-82e83b38-d268-6d19-fdc7-da3b5f1c2c0c\" class=\"lead\">Last week I had the pleasure of interviewing <a href=\"http:\/\/willhall.net\/\">Will Hall<\/a>, one of the bright lights in the Survivor-led movement that\u2019s advocating for a change in the way mental illness is defined and treated.\u00a0 Will has faced his own struggles with madness and speaks to us about the alternative treatment approaches that have worked for him.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><br \/>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/89358327?title=0&amp;byline=0&amp;portrait=0\" height=\"338\" width=\"600\" allowfullscreen=\"\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Will has trained with Jaakko Seikkula from Finland, who developed <a href=\"http:\/\/willhall.net\/opendialogue\/\" target=\"_blank\">Open Dialogue<\/a>, an innovative approach to acute psychiatric crises. For the last few months we have been interviewing professionals that are a part of a grassroots movement gaining traction here in America.
